Owner of American Flooring, Cabinets & Granite - Don Williams
Don was born in Marietta, Georgia, in 1948 and moved to Mobile in the 1970s to establish American Carpets alongside his parents at the original location on Government and Broad Street. It was here that the memorable line, “8 to 8, so don’t be late,” was first introduced. A few years ago, Don renamed the business to American Flooring, Cabinets, & Granite to better capture our “One-Stop-Shop” philosophy, as our offerings now extend far beyond just carpets.
